Thank you so much for all your support, advice and most of all…Patience! We found all of these things together with your relaxed style and good humour, particularly helpful during the Rendez Vous. You really did show us all shapes, sizes and styles of wedding venues to help us with our search and gave us some great tips and advice. Picking one from such beautiful places was very difficult but we got there in the end!

I first saw the Festive France team at the National Wedding Show in February 2007. My French fiancé and I were organising our wedding in the Yonne region and so I kept Festive France’s details ‘just in case’.
We had already selected a venue for our wedding, but we were quickly running out of time and needed a little extra help with the finer details of the day. I remembered the card I got at the wedding show and thanks to a really thorough initial phone consultation with Jo, we were confident to ask her to source the band, hairdresser and transport for our guests. And she managed to do so in what seemed like record time!
As I couldn’t meet with the hairdresser, Yamina, prior to the wedding day, she came over to the hotel the night before to discuss styles. She was able to work round my hat (not a usual veil and headpiece!) and she understood what my bridesmaids wanted – two of whom don’t speak French.
On the day, Yamina was really professional and friendly and even helped mix the right shade of lipstick for one of the bridesmaids.
To pick the music, we were given a list of bands and were able to look at websites for each, which made decision really simple. At the reception the band was really good fun and played a great selection of French and English songs which the mixed crowd really appreciated.
Thank you so much for taking on some of the stress of the organisation and managing to work so quickly!

We found details of Festive France on the internet and were attracted to the idea of a company that specialised in a particular area of France rather than the whole of France. Jo was wonderfully enthusiastic from our first contact with her and full of useful information having listened attentively to our ideas. We had a great day with Jo, Agnes & Nathalie, looking at various venues and discussing the potential of each. We remain very grateful to the Festive France team for all their help.
